Perfect mornings are solo walks to the farmer's market while the air is still crisp solely for the purpose of getting treats.

I'm currently waiting for my photo place to get more CDs so I can get my rolls of film developed and finally share some more pictures!
Until then, I leave you with this quote I found on Studded Hearts that I have fallen in love with..

PETERSON CREEK
I went for a little hike with a friend the other weekend so she could take some pictures. I have to say, Olivia is amazing!
She used a film camera and the pictures turned out so well. I was so excited when I first got my DSLR but I find myself constantly
wanting to use my film cameras instead. I love that she used a film one for these. I am such a sucker for the old feel they give off.
It's just not the same with digital.
The dress I'm wearing is an old time favourite. I got it at a clothing swap for free! It has ripped once but I managed to sew it back
together thankfully. I don't know what I would do without it. It's pretty much the only dress I own that I actually wear.

WELLS GRAY
I finally found my photos from my Wells Gray trip the other week. I got to hike up to the top of the main waterfall.
It was so worth the hike. Half of my photos didn't turn out at all though and the other half
are all weird. I am in dire need of a new analog camera. Nevertheless, I still love how these ones turned out.

I was hoping to post the few photos that actually turned out during a recent hike but have since lost them somewhere in my room. Such is life. Instead I share this photo found on Oracle Fox blog that just may have pushed me those final steps toward actually purchasing a pair of Supergas this weekend. They just seem like the perfect sneaker. Can we also please admire this perfect combination of sweatshirt and denim shirt?

FLORALS
I went out with the lovely Kate and took some pictures the other week. I love the floral crowns she made and the way she edited the photos!
We drove out to a nearby lake to shoot but the second we got there it started pouring. It was fun to run around in the rain for a bit trying
not to get soaked. I definitely want to try going up to this location again.
I tried my best to keep my serious face on. You could tell Kate hated us in the most loving way possible though because for the
majority of the shoot we looked like this..

NINETIES LOVE
Check out my super cool, new shoes on top of a mix of trendy and classic/obscure books (anyone else noticing this popping up in blogs a lot lately?)
Seriously though, I am so excited to finally own a pair of creepers. These feel like a good starter pair. Not too intense, but enough of a platform to be noticeable. And those are all very good books that you should all read, especially The History of Love.
Fun fact: Nicole Krauss is married to Jonathan Safran Foer who is also an amazing author. They are definitely a power couple in my mind.
Extra fun fact: I found that copy of Alice at a used bookstore. Someone wrote Christmas 1946 on the inside of the cover which makes my heart swoon.
I'm off to get bangs now. Wish me luck!

POLKA DOTS

Took some really quick pictures the other night before dinner. It wasn't
the best spot to be standing in since the light was fading fast.
I recently started a new job that only lasts for the summer and as a result had to quit the current, steady one that I was working.
It's exciting and scary at the same time to think that come September I won't be employed. I haven't been unemployed for at least
five years, so it will definitely be new to me. I am ready to try new things though!

So this is exactly what I want to be wearing right now, backpack and all..
I also want that setting to be where I am relaxing.

WORK SPACES
BuzzFeed did a post with work spaces of inspiring, creative people. They are wonderful. As much as I like to have neat spaces at home, I feel like crazy, messy rooms full of so many items are places where great ideas are formed.
Francis Bacon, painter
Jackson Pollock, painter
John Lennon and Yoko Ono, songwriters and artists
Nigella Lawson, food writer
Paul Cezanne, painter
Ray Eames, designer and artist
Roald Dahl, children's author
Virginia Woolf, novelist
Will Self, writer
This last one makes me want to leave everything I've ever loved out in the open rather than filing things away. This way it can all constantly inspire me.

I found these photos on Kelly Wearstler's pinterest. I love how quirky they are. I feel like they would look great framed and hung up all together.
If you're ever in need of some inspiration I would definitely recommend checking her out.

HEALTHY TREATS
Usually when I make treats I focus on them tasting good but not being super healthy so I decided to try making some that I wouldn't feel bad about eating. I used this recipe but adjusted a few things. Instead of olive oil I used apple sauce, instead of white sugar I used coconut sugar, and I added some blueberries. I also added a teaspoon-ish of olive oil so it would still have the same consistency and one and a half teaspoons of baking soda since I only had regular flour. You could maybe add a bit more if you like them to rise more.
They turned out not bad. I think because of the banana/apple sauce/yogurt combo they are a lot mushier than most muffins, but they still taste good. If I were to make them again I would leave out the banana because I just don't like the flavour enough. I would definitely recommend making them though!
Seb seems to like them at least!

NEW IN
I found this little cutie at Value Village the other day. Once I got the back off and realized it uses regular film I couldn't leave it there. I can't wait to try it out!
